EFPIA Disclosure Code

Grünenthal’s commitment

Grünenthal is a member of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and supports the new EFPIA Disclosure (Transparency) code of conduct. As a member of EFPIA we are fully committed to publish our collaboration with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organizations (HCOs) to demonstrate that we interact with HCPs and HCOs in an ethical and transparent way.

EFPIA - Introducing the Disclosure Code

All transfers of value to HCPs and HCOs have been collected since 2015 being reported the year after it occurs. This includes,

  • Grants and donations to HCOs
  • Speaker and consultancy fees for HCPs
  • Sponsoring of events organized by or on behalf of HCOs
  • Invitation of HCPs to congresses and educational or scientific Meetings
  • Research and development related transfers of value (only as aggregated Report)

Please visit the EFPIA website: https://efpia.eu/relationships-code/healthcare-professionals-hcps/ to receive further information about the new EFPIA Transparency Code

The proposed EFPIA format for the disclosure report is used by the local pharma associations in Europe which are direct members of EFPIA. The report defines the different categories and how to disclose transfer of values to HCPs and HCOs on an annual basis.
